Revelstoke can be homebase for all skiing and snowboarding activities in the Selkirks and the Tangiers, which are Rocky Mountain ranges in south central BC, Canadian cat skiing.

Revelstoke has multiple outfitters that offer everykind of outdoor activities including heli-skiing, heli-boarding, cat skiing, powder cat snowboarding, back country skiing and snowboarding. There are multiple lodges that cater to back country skiers, including recognizable Hotels. There ae multiple restaurants and bars for nightlife and beer.
Revelstoke has a pedestrian friendly downtown shopping district and nearby museums and a rec center to accommodate all non cat-skiers and offers beautiful views of the Selkirks and the Tangiers which offer plenty of BC Canadian, powder cat skiing. Soon to open Revelstoke Mountain Resort at Mount Mackenzie and one can also use the Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club
